Deborah Lunt Garcia entered into rest on December 15, 2022. Born on October 7, 1952, in Mesa, Arizona, Deborah was the fourth of six children belonging to Rudd and Shirley Lunt, of Duncan, Arizona. Deborah had a happy childhood in Duncan, growing up on the family dairy farm with her numerous siblings and close cousins who were her best friends. Deborah loved being on the farm and spending time with her family. She always had a soft spot in her heart for animals and had many loving pets. \n\nDeborah married her high school sweetheart Jose D. Garcia Jr. June 1, 1972 in the Mesa Arizona Temple. They were blessed with four children, two sons and two daughters. Deborah made sure each of her children knew how important and loved they were. She spent many years attending her children’s sporting events and horse shows. Her kids were her life, next to her sister and best friend Lee Ann. Deborah was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She had a strong testimony and love for her savior Jesus Christ. \n\nDeborah is survived by her four brothers, and her children Pablo Garcia (Tara), Kyle Garcia (Ginger), and Monica Garcia. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, all of whom brought great joy into her life. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Jodi, and sister Lee Ann. \n\nServices for Deborah will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Stake Center in Duncan, Arizona on Friday December 23rd at 10:00 AM. The family will receive friends for the viewing beginning at 9:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at the Virden Cemetery. \n\nServices are being cared for by McDougal’s Caldwell Funeral Chapel.
